The Urban Cultivator requires virtually no assembly and is easy to use.  It can be plumbed into your household water system or used independently but either way keeps the work to a minimum: simply add your seeds of choice to the growing medium and use the simple control panel to set the optimum growing conditions.  Watch your food grow through the large glass window while you plan your delicious menu.  Your Urban Cultivator harvest can be enjoyed in salads, sandwiches, soups, stews, smoothies and so much more.  Let your imagination run wild!

In a study published in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry (University of Maryland) researchers found that microgreens contained up to forty times as many nutrients as their full-grown vegetable counterparts.
